We respect our clients’ intellectual property and ask the same in return. This notice explains how our work is protected under UK law.
1. Ownership of Intellectual Property
All content and materials published on https://k4uxwebdesign.com are the exclusive intellectual property of K4 UX Web Design Ltd, unless expressly stated otherwise.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Written text, copy, and blogs/articles;
  • Website design, structure, and layout;

  • Source code, scripts, and technical framework;
  • Videos, animations, and motion graphics;
  • Branding, taglines, and visual identity;

2. Copyright Protection and Legal Basis

This Website and all associated content are protected under:

  • The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (UK);

K4 UX Web Design Ltd retains full ownership and moral rights in all works produced, whether displayed publicly or provided privately to clients.
3. Client Materials and Third-Party Content
3.1 Clients remain the rightful owners of all content, images, branding, or data supplied for use in their projects.
3.2 Where a client provides materials, they confirm that they have full legal rights or licences to use and reproduce such content.
3.3 We accept no liability for copyright infringements arising from client-supplied materials. Clients agree to indemnify us against any such claims.
3.4 Any third-party assets used under licence (e.g., stock photography, plugins, or fonts) remain subject to their respective licensors’ terms.
4. Licence for Client Use
4.1 Upon full payment for services, and subject to the terms of this Agreement, K4 UX Web Design Ltd grants the Client a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and reproduce the final website and deliverables for its own business purposes.
4.2 This licence does not include the right to resell, redistribute, sublicense, or claim authorship of any materials or source code created by us.
4.3 Until full payment is received, all intellectual property rights remain vested in K4 UX Web Design Ltd.
5. Prohibited Use of Company IP

You may not, without prior written consent from K4 UX Web Design Ltd:

  • Copy, reproduce, or reuse any portion of this Website’s design or content;
  • Republish or host our materials on another website or platform;
  • Frame or embed our Website within another domain;
  • Use our trade name, logo, or branding for any purpose that suggests endorsement;
  • Extract or mirror content through automated tools or bots.
6. Protection of Design Process and Methods
Our design process, frameworks, and creative systems are proprietary trade secrets. Any attempt to replicate, reverse-engineer, or derive commercial benefit from our design methodologies or internal processes constitutes infringement under UK law.
7. Reporting Infringement
We take intellectual property protection seriously. If you believe that our content has been copied or used unlawfully elsewhere — or that material on our Website infringes your copyright — please notify us as soon as possible at info@k4uxwebdesign.com

All infringement reports must include:

  • Your name and contact details;
  • A description of the copyrighted work;
  • The location (URL) of the alleged infringement; and
  • Evidence of ownership or licence.
We respond to valid infringement reports in accordance with UK law.
8. Enforcement and Remedies
We reserve the right to take legal action against individuals or organisations who infringe upon our intellectual property. Remedies may include injunctions, removal of infringing material, recovery of damages, and recovery of legal costs. Persistent or deliberate infringement may also constitute a criminal offence under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
9. Moral Rights
All moral rights — including the right to be identified as the author and the right to object to derogatory treatment of our work — are asserted by K4 UX Web Design Ltd in accordance with Sections 77–89 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
